2013–2014 Comp Ticket Policy

Complimentary tickets are available for most performances to students, faculty, and staff with a valid Conservatory ID. Please read the details below for eligibility and how to claime your tickets. Please note that special events and fundraisers are handled on a case-by-case basis, and complimentary tickets may not be available.

WHO GETS WHAT (Please note that this is only your eligibility - tickets are not guaranteed):

  • Production Cast and Non-Student Crew*: Two (2) comps per production (non-transferrable) - may be reserved in advance by contacting the Audience Services Manager.

*A list of all cast and non-student crew will be provided to the ASM by the Stage Manager of each performance. A full list of ticket eligibility will be provided to the Stage Manager for cast/crew reference.

  • TBC Faculty/Staff: Two (2) comps per production (non-transferrable) - may be reserved in advance at the box office
  • TBC Students, not in production^: One (1) comp per production (non-transferrable) - may only be claimed at the box office on the performance night.

^ Students can not reserve their tickets in advance; however, if availability allows, a student may see the production more than once. See STUDENT RUSH LINE below.

  • Division Director (of the production): One (1) comp per performance, plus four (4) discretionary tickets per production - may be reserved in advance by contacting the Audience Services Manager.
  • Director, Music Director, Choreographer and Conductor: One (1) comp per performance, plus four (4) discretionary tickets per production - may be reserved in advance by contacting the Audience Services Manager.

Any additional comps for press, industry professionals, etc. must be requested through and approved by the Audience Services Manager and can not be guaranteed.

NEW STUDENT RUSH LINE: Please note that only faculty, staff and production cast and crew may reserve their complimentary tickets in advance. All other TBC students must arrive at the performance one (1) hour before curtain to wait in a student rush line - complimentary tickets will be distributed at that time based on availability. If availability allows, a student may see the production multiple nights, but must wait for all other students in the rush line who have not used their one (1) comp to be seated first.

DUE TO INCREASED DEMAND FOR CONSERVATORY PERFORMANCES, ALL ADDITIONAL TICKETS ARE TO BE BOUGHT AT FULL PRICE

PLEASE NOTE: Even if reserved in advance, all comps will be held at WILL CALL on performance nights. Comp tickets not picked up 15 minutes prior to the performance start time are subject to be released for sale.

Once again, the availability of comps is not guaranteed, and policies are subject to change at the discretion of the Audience Services Manager.
