Application Process
All students who wish to be considered for any form of scholarship or financial aid must first complete The Boston Conservatory’s Application for Admission. Students who wish to have their need considered for additional financial aid must submit the Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA).

The deadline for the processed FAFSA information is March 1.

You should file the FAFSA electronically at www.fafsa.ed.gov by February 15.

The Boston Conservatory's FAFSA code 002129.

Scholarship and Financial Aid resources may be awarded individually or in combination, depending on the applicant's needs and qualifications. While the Conservatory is unable to meet the financial needs of all who apply, every effort is made to distribute funds as equitably as possible so that the greatest number may benefit.

New students must apply to the Conservatory by no later than December 1 and should have the Free Application for Student Aid processed by March 1. Scholarship and Financial Aid notifications are mailed along with the Admissions Office notifications.

Returning students must have the Free Application for Federal Student Aid processed by May 1. Scholarship and Financial Aid notifications are mailed in early June.

Students who are applying for Merit Scholarships only do not have to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid
