It's a big decision: where to train, where to hone your craft, where to realize your potential.
At The Boston Conservatory, we know you’re much more than your instrument, your body, your voice, your talent; you’re an individual looking for a community in which to explore your calling and passions, a place where you can grow as an artist and a person.
So if you’re looking for a school with purpose, a school that does more than just focus on ability and know-how, a school that wants to transform the human experience through art, we think we just might have what you’re looking for…
A place where you’ll never get lost in the crowd. We’re a small school of approximately 700 students! Individual attention and guidance is our specialty, not just in the classroom but outside of it, too.
A community of artists. We’re a school composed of wildly different people who have one very important thing in common—art. We thrive on individuality and provide a “safe haven” for students to explore that individuality. And we expect nothing short of curiosity, innovation, and character from our students.
A cool school in a cool city. We’re located in the heart of Boston— three blocks from Symphony Hall, a subway ride to the Theater District or the Boston Ballet, a short walk to the Museum of Fine Arts. The city and all it has to offer is at our doorstep. And as a school composed of artist citizens, we pride ourselves on being active members of the community that surrounds us.
A world-class faculty and alumni. Our faculty are active performers here and across the country. You’ll learn from them what life as a performer is really like. And our alumni go off and do incredible things, too—they're in national symphonies, on Broadway, with the biggest dance companies, teaching in the best schools, and most importantly, they’re influencing people through their art.
But nothing will tell you more about the Conservatory than spending a day here. We encourage you to come visit . Talk to students, faculty, staff—you'll know if this is the right place for you.
Come play, come fly, come learn, come be. Come to The Boston Conservatory. We hope to see you here soon.
