Home/ Bert YocomBert Yocom earned his M.M. from The Boston Conservatory and his B.M. from the University of Arkansas, and he completed piano studies with Jung-Ja Kim, Beatriz Pilapil, Timothy McFarland, Ozan Marsh, Jared Jacobsen and Errol Haun.
Yocom has performed in Boston, New York, Arkansas, California and Italy, and he has given duo performances with Linda Papatopoli at Boston College, Eastern Nazarene College and The Boston Conservatory. Yocom's ensemble performances include Wellesley College Composers and Chamber Music Conference. He has also performed with the Jamaica Plain Symphony Orchestra.
Yocom is a semi-finalist of the Joanna Hodges Piano Conference and Competition, the Concorso Pianistico Internazionale Alfredo Casella and the Arkansas State Piano Competition, and he held scholarships to Chautauqua Institution and Inspiration Point Fine Arts Colony. Yocom is the recipient of the Tovey Award. He is currently piano faculty at the Handel & Haydn Society and The Boston Conservatory.
