Elisabeth Rettelbach earned her M.A. in applied linguistics/translation with additional certification in teaching German as a foreign language from Johannes-Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany. She is a language enthusiast and works as a freelance translator and writer. She teaches German at various institutions in Boston, including The Goethe Institute.
