Gina M. Fiore

Musical Theater

Gina M. Fiore earned a B.M. in piano performance from the New England Conservatory (NEC), where she studied with Patricia Zander, and a M.M. in conducting from Ithaca College. At Ithaca College, Fiore was assistant conductor, vocal coach and accompanist for the choral, opera and musical theater divisions, and she was recognized by the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts for her musical direction and a cappella arrangements of Stephen Vincent Benet's adaptation of John Brown's Body

Fiore is a former faculty lecturer for Ithaca College Theater and has extensive experience as a musical director, vocal coach and accompanist. Her affiliations include Gateway/Candlewood Playhouse, North Shore Music Theater, The New Opera and Music Theater Initiative (NOMTI), Virginia Stage Company, Virginia Opera and the Hangar Theater. Fiore has performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland, where she conducted productions of A Chorus Line and Chicago. Fiore recently spent two summers as a vocal coach/accompanist for Opera Lirica in Orvieto, Italy. She is a member of Pi Kappa Lambda and currently serves as a member of the theater faculty at the Walnut Hill School for the Academic and Performing Arts.
