Jill Hogan

MMed. '08—Instructor The Boston Conservatory Program for Students on the Autism Spectrum

Jill Hogan is a piano instructor and former program assistant for The Boston Conservatory Program for Students on the Autism Spectrum. She is a graduate of The Boston Conservatory, having earned a B.M. in clarinet performance and an M.M. in music education. Hogan currently teaches general music at an independent school in the greater Boston area for children in grades K-8 who have been identified as gifted.

While a graduate student at The Boston Conservatory, Hogan helped found a volunteer music program at a private school that had high special needs population and wanted to emphasis student inclusion; due to its success, Hogan was later hired as music teacher to continue developing the program. She has a great interest in working with and learning from exceptional children from all walks of life.
