Liz Hayes

Voice and Speech Faculty

Liz Hayes graduated from Brown University and received her M.F.A. from the Shakespeare Theatre Company's Academy for Classical Acting at George Washington University. She is also a certified Vinyasa Yoga teacher. 

A proud member of the Actor's Equity Association and the Screen Actor's Guild, her most recent theater credits include Grounded (The Gamm Theatre) and Into the Woods (McCarter Theatre, Old Globe Theatre). She has appeared onstage with many Boston companies, including New Repertory Theatre, SpeakEasy Stage Company, the Lyric Stage Company of Boston, the Nora Theatre Company, Underground Railway Theater, Stoneham Theatre, Boston Playwrights' Theatre, Wheelock Family Theater, Israeli Stage and Gloucester Stage Company. Hayes was a founding member of the Elliot Norton Award-winning theater company Orfeo Group.

She is also a dialect/accent and vocal coach, working for companies and institutions that include the Huntington Theatre Company, Underground Railway Theatre, Stoneham Theater, Company One, Whistler in the Dark, Simple Machine, Emerson College, Worcester State University and the Walnut Hill School for the Arts.

Hayes currently teaches Voice & Speech 5/6 and 7/8 (Junior and Senior level) at The Boston Conservatory. She has also taught at Emerson College and teaches Shakespeare at The Walnut Hill School for the Arts.
