Lori LoTurco

Jazz Dance Faculty

Lori LoTurco graduated with honors and a BS in Dance Performance and Choreography from Skidmore College, where she was selected to perform original work by Doug Varone, Kenneth Topping (Martha Graham), Brian Simmerson (MOMIX), Denise Limoli (ABT), and Luigi, among others.

LoTurco has danced professionally with the Nicola Hawkins Dance Company, Boston's ACE Entertainment, and Urbanity Dance. Former CO-Director of NY modern dance company VL DanceWorks, LoTurco has choreographed, produced and performed in concerts across the Northeast. Her choreography has been presented locally at Wellesley College, the Coolidge Corner Theatre, Green Street Studios, the Dance Complex and Boston's Hatch Shell; and regionally at Skidmore College, the Williamsburg Art NeXus and the Duke on 42nd St. 

LoTurco has taught master classes for festivals in both Boston and New York, and has sat on the faculties of the Legacy Dance Company and the Jeannette Neill Dance Studio. As former Director of the Boston Conservatory Hoofers, she is now jazz dance faculty for the Boston Conservatory's Musical Theatre Division and MT Summer Dance Intensive. LoTurco is a full-time marketing professional in the Boston area, and performs as a lead dancer with the Jazz Inc Dance Company.
