Stuart Dunkel
Oboe Faculty
Stuart Dunkel earned his B.M. from Boston University, his M.M. from the Mannes College of Music and his D.M.A. from The Juilliard School. He serves as principal oboe with New Hampshire and Vermont Symphonies, and he has held positions with Opera Company of Boston, Boston Symphony Orchestra (BSO), Boston Pops and Hong Kong Philharmonic. His performances and appearances have been with the New York Philharmonic, Mostly Mozart, Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Naumberg Orchestra and many others. Dunkel is the founder of the Tampa Bay Chamber Soloists and the Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra. He authored The Audition Process: Anxiety Management and Coping Strategies.
