Lecturer Teresa M. Neff received her Ph.D. in musicology from Boston University. Neff has presented research at the New England Chapter of the American Musicological Society, the National Meeting of the Society for 18th-Century Studies and the Architecture/Music/Acoustics Conference. She is currently editing the symphonies of Gottfried van Swieten for publication by Artaria. In the summer, Neff teaches through the Road Scholar program in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. She was an Opera Preview speaker for the Boston Lyric Opera and has been the Handel & Haydn Society’s Historically-Informed-Performance Research Fellow since 2009. In 2011, Neff received a Levitan Teaching Prize in the School of Humanities, Artsand Social Sciences at MIT.
