On-Campus Student Employment

The Boston Conservatory has numerous opportunities for students to work on campus. Student employment openings are emailed out to students on the first day of classes and can also be found in the Student Center.  All students interested in employment should review The Boston Conservatory's Student Employment Procedures and Responsibilities.

There are two forms of student employment, work study and conservatory employment. Students who are eligible for work study positions have received a Federal Work Study award as part of their financial aid package. All other students are eligible for Conservatory employment.

New Student Employment

We recommend that all students who are considering working on campus complete the payroll forms prior to arriving on campus. This will give each student an opportunity to discuss how to complete the paperwork with their parents and ensure each student brings the correct documents to campus. Each student will then attend a MANDATORY employment meeting during orientation which will instruct the student in the next steps to finding employment. On the first day of classes, job descriptions for available jobs will be posted on this web page. Job descriptions are also posted on a bulletin board in the Student Center and emailed to all student Conservatory email addresses.
