Workshops

Career Services holds several career related workshops throughout the year both in academic classes and in open workshops for the entire current student body and alumni. Sessions have focused on contracts and negotiating for artists, interview skills, and taxes for performing artists. The Artist Toolbox Series, started in 2008, is a week of interactive workshops in which specialists come together to speak to graduating seniors, current students and alumni about taxes, health insurance, resumes, career resources, and other forms of insurance all geared toward their lives as performing artists.
