Faculty Recital: Curtis Hughes

Composer Curtis K. Hughes, whose music has been described as "spiky" and "absorbing" (The Wire) and as "feisty" and "audacious" (New Music Box), celebrates the recent release of two CDs in this chamber music concert, including a suite from his 2009 opera "Say it Ain't So, Joe" about the 2008 Palin/Biden Vice Presidential Debate. Featuring members of Guerilla Opera, Boston Conservatory faculty members and graduates as well as numerous special guests. This concert will also include several Boston premieres.
