Featuring Oleksandr Poliykov, piano & Janice Weber, piano

Prize-winning pianist and conductor Oleksandr Poliykov, A.D.P. '13, joins Boston Conservatory faculty member Janice Weber in an evening of bravura two-piano works. Poliykov, a student of Michael Lewin, recently won third prize in the Franz Liszt Piano competition in Utrecht and has just returned from Ukraine, where he conducted performances of Tchaikovsky's fourth symphony and opera, Eugene Onegin. His future engagements include concerts in South American and China. Weber returns from recent recitals and master classes in Sarajevo and Changchun. Her recording of Ross Lee Finney's chamber music, with soprano Judith Kellock, will be released by Cambria Records this spring. Her eighth novel was published in September 2012.
