Choong-Mo Kang, appointed last year to the Juilliard piano faculty, is one of South Korea’s preeminent pianists and musicians. He has won the Dong-A Competition, the Frinna Awerbuch International Competition and the McMahon Competition, and performed in recital and as soloist with orchestras throughout the world. His remarkable achievements include a 5-year traversal of the complete keyboard works of J.S. Bach.
