Due to weather, The Boston Conservatory will CLOSE at 3 p.m. on Friday, February 5. During this time, all classes are canceled and all offices are closed. Performances and rehearsals scheduled for tonight will continue as planned, and practice rooms on campus will remain open and available to students. Vocal Academy

January 20–April 29, 2016

The Boston Conservatory Vocal Academy is a Saturday preparatory training program for high school students, college students and avocational singers who wish to study classical or musical theater singing at an advanced level in a conservatory setting. Students will develop their voices, language, diction and general music skills in addition to learning appropriate audition repertoire. 

The program includes 11 one-hour lessons with Boston Conservatory Vocal Pedagogy master's degree candidates, one masterclass and a recital jury with written assessment by Vocal Academy faculty.

Who Should Apply

High school, college and avocational-level singers of classical and musical theater styles who wish to study at an advanced level in a conservatory setting.
