Comp Ticket Policy
Unless otherwise announced or posted, complimentary tickets are available to all students, faculty, and staff according to the details below. Please note that special events and fundraisers are handled on a case-by-case basis, and complimentary tickets may not be available.
To redeem complimentary tickets, you must come in person to the Box Office during weekday Box Office hours (Monday-Friday 12pm-5pm) and show Boston Conservatory ID. You may NOT pick up comp tickets for another student/faculty/staff member.
- TBC Students, in production: Two (2) comps per production
- TBC Students, not in production: One (1) comp per production
- TBC Faculty/Staff: Two (2) comps per production
- Division Directors: Four (4) comps per production
- Director, Music Director, Choreographer and Conductor: Ten (10) comps per production
- All other production staff (e.g., designers, tech directors): Four (4) comps per production
Comps will be issued at the door for all Orchestra performances at Sanders Theatre.
NEW: IN ADDITION TO YOUR COMPS, UP TO 4 TICKETS MAY BE PURCHASED AT THE DISCOUNT FACULTY/STAFF/STUDENT RATE. ALL OTHER TICKETS ARE PURCHASED AT THE CORRESPONDING PRICE FOR THE PERSON ATTENDING THE EVENT.
Restrictions:
- Comps are not available for the Saturday night performance of a multiple-night production.
- There is no ban on comps for one-night-only productions whose single performance is on Saturday.
- The Saturday night ban does not apply to performers in double-cast shows who perform on Saturday nights.
- The Saturday night ban does not apply to Division Directors; the Director, Music Director, Choreographer and Conductor of the production; or the production staff.
- For Main Stage performance - comp tickets are not available in premium seating.
- Comp tickets may only be used for the guests of the person redeeming the comp tickets. It is not allowed to give comp tickets to other students/faculty/staff that have already redeemed their comp ticket allowance.
Please note: Comp tickets not picked up by 15 minutes before a performance are subject to be released for sale.
Comps will only be issued on performance nights after all paying customers. To secure a comp, you must claim it at the box office during business hours.
The availability of comps is not guaranteed, and policies are subject to change at the discretion of the Audience Services Manager.
