Frequently Asked Questions

Life in the Residence Halls

We are currently home to six different residential areas: 98 Hemenway Street, 12 Hemenway Street,  150 Massachusetts Avenue, 160 Massachusetts Avenue, 270 Commonwealth Avenue, and the Fenway buildings. All of the residential areas are located within a 10-minute walk to the main campus buildings.

Residence Hall Amenities

All residential areas have similar amenities, with a few key differences. Students living on campus can access any of the amenities available both in their residence hall and other residence halls on campus.

Housing Assignments

Our dedicated residential and housing operations staff oversee housing assignments, along with other integral processes like move-in and move-out. Visit our Residence Halls page to learn more about the five different residential areas on campus.

Safety and Security

Berklee's campus is located in the heart of Boston's scenic, historic Back Bay neighborhood. In any urban setting, it is necessary to exercise a degree of caution. Students will learn more during orientation about suggested security measures and resources available on campus to assist in keeping them safe.
