Residential life at The Boston Conservatory is dedicated to fostering a community that promotes artistic and academic success as well as respect for oneself and others. We strive to create a supportive environment inspired by the principles of respect, order, safety and fun. We encourage residents to seek out what they have in common with each other, and celebrate what makes them different. We seek to provide opportunities for each person to become responsibly independent and effectively interdependent to achieve independent and community goals.

This handbook familiarizes you with the facilities, policies, and procedures of residence life at The Boston Conservatory. It is important to understand that when you sign a contract for housing, you agree to abide by the terms stated in the housing contract, the Student Handbook, and this Guide to Residence Hall Living. Therefore, you are responsible for reading and understanding these documents. They include valuable information about student rooms, residence hall staff, food services, policies and rules, and room and board fees. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask a Residence Life staff member
