Guitar training at The Boston Conservatory centers on professional readiness. Guitar students take Guitar Seminar, Chamber Music and Applied Lessons in addition to courses in Guitar Pedagogy, Guitar Literature and Guitar Research.

Guitar students have multiple opportunities to perform both on-campus and off: beyond solo and studio recitals, master classes, Conservatory ensembles and chamber groups, there is an active music scene in Boston itself.
