Boston Conservatory at Fashion's Night Out

For the first time in 15 years, the City of Boston will be shutting down Newbury Street to traffic (between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.) for Fashion's Night Out -- a global initiative created in 2009 by American Vogue, the Council of Fashion Designers of America, NYC & Company and the City of New York to celebrate fashion and restore consumer confidence.

The event will include performances by two Boston Conservatory ensembles.  Percussion group MuzikoMonda -- featuring Aaron Fried, Eric Gaudette, Max Judelson, Ariel Strasser and Nate Tucker --  will perform at Taj Boston (outside the Petite Ballroom).  A brass quintet -- featuring Loo kit Chong (trumpet), Kevin Natoli (trumpet), Kristine Rooke (trumpet), Christian Howard (trombone) and Andrew Smith (tuba) -- will perform in front of 137 Newbury Street.

All are welcome to attend.  For more details, visit: http://fnoboston.com/
