Library To Undergo Summer Renovations

BOSTON, MA (March 31, 2014)—The Boston Conservatory Albert Alphin Library will undergo renovations this summer, beginning Saturday, May 17. The work will involve repairs to the windows, the addition of new furniture and more comfortable seating, a new circulation desk, updated listening stations, more shelving, the creation of a quiet room, new carpeting, improved lighting, additional outlets and an overall redesign of the existing floor plan.

Renovations will be completed on Sunday, June 22.

Students can still contact Reg Didham for inter-library loan requests and the library staff will help arrange a pick-up time if necessary. Library materials can still be returned to the bin outside of the library door and fine payments can be made by contacting the library staff. During the renovation period, students are encouraged to use the computers and photocopier in the lab in the basement of 8 The Fenway.
