Every dance major is guaranteed a performance on the main stage each year. The Boston Conservatory Dance Theater presents two major productions annually for audiences in the Boston metropolitan area. Premieres by world class dance faculty and guest artists are commissioned, and reconstructions of major American modern dance and classical ballet masterworks are presented. Other performance opportunities include: Spring Works, an annual concert of student choreography, senior and outreach projects, and work in tap with The Boston Conservatory Hoofers. Occasional collaborations with some of Boston's major organizations such as theBank of America Celebrity Series, Handel and Haydn Society, American Harp Society, Museum of Fine Arts, and Boston Symphony Orchestra are also presented. In addition, dance majors can participate in The Boston Conservatory musical theater and opera productions.
