*Important: Please note Channel Center Street is different than Channel Street (which is in the Seaport District).  If you are programming this address into Google Maps and/or a GPS it is very important to put in "Channel Center Street."  Also, please note that some GPS systems are not able to locate this street as it is fairly new.  It was formerly Midway Street.  Please reference our map above for further details.


Public Transportation:

  1. Take the Red Line to South Station.  Out of South Station take a RIGHT on Summer Street.  Walk over the bridge at Fort Point Channel.  After crossing the bridge take your first RIGHT onto Melcher Street.  At the end of Melcher take a RIGHT onto A Street.  Follow A Street (approximately 1/4 of a mile) to Binford Street and take a LEFT onto Binford Street. Channel Center Street is your first RIGHT off of Binford Street. The Midway Studios are located at 15 Channel Center Street --- approximately half way down the block.  Walking time from South Station approximately 15 to 20 minutes.  It is just shy of 3/4 of a mile from South Station.
  2. Take the Red Line to the Broadway T Stop.  Exit the T station onto West Broadway.  Walk a few blocks to A Street and turn LEFT.  Walk to Iron Street or Binford Street and turn RIGHT.  The Midway Studios venue is located at 15 Channel Center Street, approximately half way down the block. 

Public Transportation from The Boston Conservatory:

  1. Take the Green Line to Park Street and change to the Red Line outbound.  Get off of the Red Line at South Station.  Coming out of South Station, take a RIGHT on to Summer Street.  Walk over the bridge at Fort Point Channel.  After crossing the bridge take your first RIGHT onto Melcher Street.  At the end of Melcher Street, take a RIGHT onto A Street.  Follow A Street (approximately 1/4 of a mile) to Binford Street and then take a LEFT onto Binford Street. Channel Center Street is your first RIGHT off of Binford Street. The Midway Studios venue is located at 15 Channel Center Street, approximately half way down the block.  Walking time from South Station approximately 15 to 20 minutes.  It is just shy of 3/4 of a mile from South Station.   Approximate travel time is 40-50 minutes.
  2. Take the Green Line to Park Street.  Change to the Red Line outbound.  Get off at Broadway T Stop.  Exit the T station onto West Broadway.  Walk a few blocks to A Street and turn LEFT.  Walk to Iron Street or Binford Street and turn RIGHT.  The Midway Studios venue is located at 15 Channel Center Street, approximately half way down the block.  Approximate travel time is 40 minutes.
  3. Walk from campus to the Mass. Ave. Orange Line T stop.  Take the Orange Line from Mass. Ave. (toward Oak Grove) and get off at New England Medical Center.  Exit the station (following the New England Medical Center signs) and walk across the street (Washington Street).  Wait in front of the New England Medical Center for the number 11 bus.  Take the 11 bus onto A street.  As soon as it crosses Binford Street get off and walk down Binford Street of or Iron Street to Channel Center Street.  The Midway Studios venue is located at 15 Channel Center Street.  Approximate travel time is 50 minutes.

Driving Directions:

  1. FROM POINTS NORTH OF BOSTON: TAKE 93 SOUTH (from campus take Storrow Drive East and get on to 93 South).  Take exit 20 towards South Station.  At the light, take a LEFT on to Summer Street.  (South Station will be to your right).  Proceed over the Fort Point Channel.  After crossing the bridge, take your first RIGHT onto Melcher Street.  At the end of Melcher, take a RIGHT on to A Street.  Proceed down A Street, passing Wormwood and Binford Streets on your LEFT.   Take your third LEFT onto Iron Street.  NOTE:  Iron Street is difficult to see as the street sign is fairly light in color and a bit hidden .  There is an emergency fire pole on the corner as a landmark.  The turn is directly after the chain link fence.  Channel Center Street (formerly Midway Street) is on the LEFT. 
  2. FROM POINTS SOUTH OF BOSTON: TAKE 93 NORTH.  Take exit 16 (Southampton Street to Andrew Square).  Turn RIGH onto Southampton Street.  Turn LEFT on to Dorchester Avenue. Follow for approximately one mile.  Turn RIGHT onto A Street and follow for approximately .5 miles.  Turn RIGHT onto Iron Street.  NOTE: Iron Street is difficult to see as the street sign is fairly light in color and a bit hidden.  There is an emergency fire pole on the corner as a landmark.  The turn is immediately after the chain link fence.  (If you come to Congress Street you have gone too far; please turn around and go back down A Street).  Channel Center Street (formerly Midway Street) is on the LEFT. 


Parking

There is a pay lot next to the building called Channel Center Parking.  It is $3 per half hour with a $12 maximum.  After 5pm it is $6.  Follow driving directions to Iron Street.  The lot is on Iron Street on the right side. The parking is metered, so bring correct change.  There is also a garage on Necco Street at the corner of Necco Street and A Street.  Please do not park behind the building along the fence. This is reserved for residents of the building only.
