Orientation 2010: "Breaking New Ground"
Orientation is an opportunity for the Orientation Team to introduce new students to the many valuable resources that will help them succeed both personally and academically at The Boston Conservatory. All new undergraduate and graduate students are required to attend Orientation. During this time, new students will:
- Meet with current students, faculty and staff to learn about the Conservatory's services, programs and policies.
- Take any necessary placement exams.
- Audition for fall productions and ensembles.
- Discuss the requirements of your program and division.
- Learn about life on campus and in Boston.
- Meet your fellow students at various social events.
Before coming to Orientation, please review the following:
New International Undergraduate and Graduate Students
Aug 26: 9am: Move-in; 5pm: Check-In
New Undergraduate Students
Aug 27: 8am: Move-in; 9am-12pm: Check-in
New Graduate Students
Aug 28: 9am: Move-in; 9am–11am: Check-in
Undergraduate Orientation runs from Friday, Aug 27–Sunday, Sep 5.
Graduate Orientation runs from Saturday, Aug 28-Sunday, Sep 5.
Our Orientation program is designed to acclimate you to the Conservatory, introduce you to the city of Boston and give you everything you need to get your Boston Conservatory experience off to a great start. We look forward to seeing you this August!
