Self-Service Activation Instructions

Welcome to The Boston Conservatory!


Please take a few moments to activate your Self-Service Account.

Self-Service is an online resource for students to access their academic and billing records and update their personal information. Students will be able to view class offerings, view student account information (tuition, fees, and summarized financial aid), view class schedule, view grades and access their unofficial transcripts. The self-service site is accessible at any location with internet access, at any time.

1.     Activate your network account by changing your password.

Your network username is your first name_ last name.
Example: John Smith
Network Username: john_smith

Your temporary password is your username with the first letter of your first and last name capitalized.
Example: John Smith
Temporary Password: John_Smith


  • Account:  john_smith
  • Old password:  John_Smith
  • New Password:
  • Confirm New Password:  
  • Select the OK button.


2.     Authenticate your account in Self-Service.

Note: The Self-Service link is also found on The Boston Conservatory website under Resources at the bottom of the page.

  • Login with your network account username and new password
  • Enter the required fields to complete your authentication

System ID is your Student ID number that was distributed to you along with your Orientation Newsletter.  Your student ID number will also be listed on the front of your student ID card (received during Orientation).

After you have successfully validated your account, go to “My Profile” tab to update your personal information.

3.    Verify and Update your phone number(s) – Please ensure you enter a MOBILE number so you will receive text notifications and messages from The Boston Conservatory (e.g. school emergencies).

4.    Verify and Update your addresses (Permanent, Local, Parent-Primary, and/or Parent-Secondary)
