Due to space limitations, it is not possible to use rooms in 8 The Fenway or the Theater building for recital receptions. Boston Conservatory students may use the Student Center for recital receptions unless other events have been previously scheduled. Students should see the Director of Student Programs at 24 The Fenway to reserve the Center for a recital reception.

General Student Center Reservation Policies

• All reservations should be made at least two weeks in advance with the Director of Student Programs .
• Any faculty member wishing to utilize the Student Center for a class must seek special permission from the Director of Student Programs at least two weeks in advance.
• A $25 refundable damage deposit is due two weeks prior to the reservation date and will be held until after the event takes place.
• You are responsible for setting up and monitoring your event. The Boston Conservatory is not responsible for any damaged or stolen items during the time of your reservation.
• You are responsible for clean-up. Failure to clean-up will result in loss of deposit. All furniture should be returned to the location it was found prior to your reception. Trash should be placed in the trash receptacles.
• You must have the space cleaned and vacated by the end of your reservation time.
• No smoking is permitted in Boston Conservatory facilities.
• No alcohol may be served, provided, or brought to recital receptions.
• No refrigeration or kitchen use is provided.
• You are responsible for adhering to all Boston Conservatory policies.
• The Student Center may be reserved for the following times:
  Monday through Friday: 5:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.
  Saturdays and Sundays: 12:30 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.
