Home/ Students/ Housing and Residence Life/ On-Campus Housing/ Residence Life Handbook/ The Residence HallsOn-campus housing at The Boston Conservatory consists of six historic brownstones in the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston. The five Fenway buildings are listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The layout of each residence hall is different, each room is unique, and the number of students housed in each hall ranges from 18 to 52.
Five types of rooms are available to undergraduate students: quints, quads, triples, doubles, and singles. Every room contains furniture for each student including a twin bed, desk, chair, and bureau.
All first-time college students 20 years of age or younger who have not completed a full year's course load at another college or university are required to live in the undergraduate residence halls, except for students who commute from their homes of origin. Upper-class and graduate student housing is also available, on a first-come, first-served basis.
