The Boston Conservatory Vocal Academy (BCVA) is a Saturday preparatory training program for high school students, college students and avocational singers who wish to study classical or musical theater singing at an advanced level in a conservatory setting. Students will develop their voices, language, diction and general music skills in addition to learning appropriate audition repertoire.
The program includes 11 one-hour lessons with Boston Conservatory Vocal Pedagogy Masters Degree Candidates, one master class and a recital jury with written assessment by Vocal Academy faculty.
Who Should Apply
High school, college and avocational-level singers of classical and musical theater styles who wish to study at an advanced level in a conservatory setting.
