There are many ways you can support The Boston Conservatory—by check, credit cards, gifts of securities and stocks, real estate, matching gifts or bequests.

Your tax-deductible donations fund everything from world-class faculty to performance opportunities that prepare our students for their careers after college.

Give By Check or Credit Card

Gifts may be sent to the Development Office, The Boston Conservatory, PO Box 970009, Boston, MA 02297-0009. Please make your check payable to The Boston Conservatory. And remember, you can increase your gift by including a Matching Gift form from your employer.

Recurring Gift Program

Join the Recurring Gift Program

Sustain the core mission of The Boston Conservatory and your personal connection to our students with recurring monthly gifts. It's easy, convenient, and the best way to ensure that the Conservatory remains a vibrant and rigorous institution.

  1. Choose the amount that you want to contribute every month.
  2. Decide if you want to use a credit card, checking, or savings account.
  3. Please contact Paul Fleming to establish an electronic fund transfer at pfleming@bostonconservatory.edu or (617) 912-9202.

  • Eliminates the cost of writing checks and stamping envelopes
  • Is a convenient way to give 
  • Allows you to build up your total annual gift with specified, periodic withdrawals from your bank account or credit card charges
  • Provides easy proof of donation for tax purposes

  • Provides a consistent and predictable cash flow
  • Reduces mailing and postage expenses for the Conservatory 
  • Reduces administrative and processing costs—allowing more of each dollar to go directly to our institution and students

Stocks

If you are giving a gift of securities, bonds, mutual funds or commodities and your broker is executing the transfer the securities must be transferred from your account to the Conservatory no later than December 31 to qualify for a deduction.

To make a gift of stock, please provide your broker with the following information about our account: DTC 0443 Bank of New York Boston Conservatory Brokerage Account #A9G043128

When making a stock gift, please contact or leave a message with Paul Fleming at (617) 912-9202 or pfleming@bostonconservatory.edu to inform us of the amount of the transfer. To be considered a gift for tax purposes, you must relinquish ownership of the stock on or before December 31. Plan Your Gift - Become a Member of The Churchill Society

The Boston Conservatory is grateful for your loyal support of its mission to prepare and inspire students to perform at the highest level in the performing arts. The Churchill Society celebrates those who have established a legacy gift to The Boston Conservatory.  It is named to honor H. Wilfred Churchill ’38, alumnus and devoted faculty member, who gave his estate to The Boston Conservatory through a gift in his will.

Real Estate

You can make a gift of real estate to endow a fund or name a portion of the campus. Common real estate gifts may include:

  1. Your primary residence
  2. A vacation or second home
  3. Land

Selling such assets may incur heavily tax consequences. You may minimize or eliminate your tax burden by donating your real estate to The Boston Conservatory.
