Where to Shop in Boston?
Cambridgeside Galleria
Known for its array of choices, reasonable prices, and inexpensive parking! Take the Green line to Lechmere. When you exit, take a right and it will be down the road on the left.
Charles Street
Historic area of Boston complete with gas lamp lined streets. You'll find eclectic and antique shopping but also new hip stores sprinkled in here and there! Take the Green line to Park St. Take a left out of the station and walk until you see the Gardens. That's Charles St.
Copley Place
An upscale mall located right in front of the Prudential Center and the second tallest building in Boston. Take the Green line to Copley and it's across the street from the Boston Public Library.
Downtown Crossing
Home of many great stores including H&M, DSW, and many more! Take the Green line to Park St. Downtown Crossing is on the right when you come out of the station.
The Garment District
Looking for that perfect retro outfit or Halloween costume? Head to this campy Cambridge warehouse of funky secondhand clothes. Take the Green line to Park St., transfer to the Red line and get off at Kendall/MIT. Make a left when you come out of the station and the Garment District is located four blocks away at 200 Broadway.
Havard Square
This area is complete with shopping, street performers, and restaurants, oh my! Take the Green line to Park St. and transfer to the Red line. Get off at Harvard.
Newbury Street
From the Conservatory, take a right onto Boylston and a left on Mass Ave. You'll hit Newbury! It's a great place for anything from antiques to trendy stuff to cute little cafés on the corner!
Prudential Center
75 shops and restaurants, including the region's only Saks Fifth Avenue. While you're there, visit the Skywalk, which offers a 360 degree view of the city from 700 feet up (Adults $13, Students $11). From the Conservatory, take a right onto Boylston St. and cross over Mass Ave. The Prudential center will be located on the right a few blocks down.
Quincy Marketplace
More formally know as Faneuil Hall Market Place, this area has shopping for three blocks! Take the Green line to Government Center and it will be located at the bottom of the steps.
The Waterfront
Boston's waterfront is quickly turning into one of the city's chicest neighborhoods. There are many quaint shops and fresh seafood restaurants. Take the Green line to Government Center, transfer to the Blue line and get off at Aquarium. Located between Northern Ave. and Hanover St., east of Congress St.
