Boston Conservatory/Boston Public Schools Music Program
July 12–August 2, 2012
This 12-day program is specially designed for Boston public middle school and high school instrumentalists and vocalists. Through intensive ensemble work, focused workshops and sectionals/ear training/musicianship classes, students in this program will continue to develop their musical skills in a supportive and demanding environment. The program concludes with a celebration concert for parents and friends on Thursday, August 2.
Summer Youth Musical Theater Program
August 6-10, 2012
The Boston Conservatory, one of the nation's top training grounds for musical theater, is pleased to offer a new Summer Youth Musical Theater program for middle-school students (ages 11-14) who want to explore the world of musical theater in a fun and nurturing environment where everyone gets to perform! The one-week program offers a daily rotation of classes in music, dance and acting, as well as group activities, afternoon rehearsals and a group performance at the end of the week. Led by Boston Conservatory faculty members and graduate students, this program is the perfect introduction to students who’ve always wanted to give theater a try, as well as those who were born to perform!
