Alumni Volunteers

Please contact us to customize an alumni volunteer opportunity based on your unique interests and talents, or give your time in one of the following ways:

  • Volunteer for the Alumni Phonathon this year: you’ll re-connect with your fellow alumni.
  • Organize or attend a regional event in your area.
  • Assist with the “Welcome to the Alumni Association” event for graduating students held in May each year.
  • Promote the Conservatory at regional auditions or at accepted student receptions.
  • Participate in Community Outreach programs through The Boston Conservatory Student Affairs office.

Alumni volunteers make a major contribution to the Conservatory by organizing and assisting with events and fundraising, as well as serving on committees.

The Student Affairs Office invites all alumni to participate in their Community Outreach Program.

Perhaps you were involved with Conservatory Connections during your time at the Conservatory. The Student Affairs office encourages students to give back to the community by participating in various outreach events through our Conservatory Connections performance program and traditional service opportunities through the Boston Cares Campus Initiative program. This opportunity will allow you to test out your audition repertoire, promote your own organization or get more comfortable performing a wide variety of audiences.

The objectives are

  • To connect with a diverse community of audiences.
  • To develop community partnerships throughout the Boston area.
  • To provide performance opportunities for our students.
  • To introduce students to new audiences and non-traditional performance spaces.
  • To make art more accessible to the community.
  • To highlight the extraordinary talent of the Conservatory to the Boston community.
